Centenarians Day is being observed today in Dominica and the Dominica Council on Ageing (DCOA) is calling on Dominicans to celebrate the lives and contributions of these Nature Isle gems.
Today, the DCOA will be visiting and making special presentations to Dominica’s fourteen (14) living centenarians and Dominica News Online (DNO) will be travelling with the DCOA team to bring live coverage of those visits.
Join DNO for the rest of today for live encounters with our centenarians.
Congrats to all. Can’t believe there is only one man among the crowd. Men needs to take better care of themselves.
I hereby register my endearing love, happiness and respect of all the centenarians in the country. May the good Lord continue to bless you with the best things life has to offer( true friends, a loving family, lots of laughter, good health, loving memories, a positive attitude, satisfying naps, and quality time with your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren).
May God give your caretakers the strength, tolerance and the loving kindness to continue to give you the best care.
How fortunate is Dominica to have such treasures?! I hope we continue to cherish, honor, and protect them. Big KUDOS to Goodwill and Newtown on toping the list with two (2) centenarians.
