A teenage girl was treated for a cut on her head at the Princess Margaret Hospital following an accident involving a jeep and a car (in photo above) on the Lousville road this afternoon. The teenager was a passenger in the car which was driven by her mother.

In reponse to vehicle and the accident sustained. i am very please that the aftermath had not resulted in a fatality and all of you should feel hummage for that.
However, on a practical note with reference to the tints fitted to this vehicle.I would like to express concerns that it is illegal to have tints fited to both front doors and the front screen other what had been specified by the manufacturer.This vehicle should have not been given a safety check certificate in any shape or form and in my opinion is illegal due to fact, the tints to the front screen seems to exceed the sunvisors allocated area which in fact would have impair the drivers vision and, more so in the evenings-“A REAL CONCERN”..
In my field of Insurance Claim investigation,I would most definitly treat this claim as Nill&Void Holding the Owner Driver responsible for neglegence.I would also enforce a Breech against the Garage who might have given this car a safety car certificate.
So ,to the underlisted comments–Please think First before making erractic comments.

If you had 34 yrs experience in my field of Road Traffic Accident Management, you would propably know exactly how I can make this judgement.I suggest you look at the photo in detail before you question my judgement.

You propably have misunderstood my judgement.It strikes me that,there aren’t enough expertee in DCA to analyse This RTA.Issues like that are best left by the Police.
In other parts of the world only people with the right experience are left to dealing with situations like that with as it is Insurance Related and it is down to the Insurance Co to deal with.Hence that were i come in-I never said I was boasting.May be one day you may need my advise?.There is always love from me for you and every D/cans……

To the police:
Charge the driver for the ridiculous tint on the windscreen that obstructs the drivers’ vision, the law is in place for that.
To the Insurance company:
Deny the claim, the vehicle is not in a road worthy condition, a drivers’ site should never be obstructed.
Tint on the front windscreen is just dumb, you may as well just use a wooden windscreen or piece of plywood with a space in between to see.
That 3% tint on te windscreen with 6 inches of clear space is a hazard on the road. How do these vehicles pass the license exam at traffic???????? We need put in place some commonsense legislation as regards “obstacles” on vehicles or enforce the ones that are already in place.
tint on a window has nothing to do with a driver,s ability to drive; its simply either u can drive or you cant. driver most learn to be more careful period.
