The Community Mental Health Team announces the resumption of its annual concert.
The Acute Psychiatric Unit (APU) mega concert will be held at the Psychiatric Unit grounds today, Sunday, April 16 at 3:00 p.m.
“The concert targets healthcare professionals, patients, family, and the community at large,” Social Worker at the Psychiatric Unit, Dave Laudat said. “These concerts are known to provide a therapeutic experience for our patients and help in the synergy needed from all systems of society for the effective care and treatment of our mentally ill persons.”
He continued, “Patients will have a lovely experience in this high-quality concert.”
Laudat anticipates a bumper crowd this year.
“Don’t miss this opportunity,” he stated.
Patrons can look forward to an impressive line-up of performances to include calypsonians, special guest artistes, the All Saints University Drama Group, Sisserou Singers, APU Drama Group, and much more.
The entrance fee is a contribution of $10.00.
