DEWAR’S, Scotch whiskey remains the official alcoholic drink for this year’s edition of the World Creole Music Festival (WCMF).
The announcement was made by Archipelago Trading representative and Group Marketing Manager Donald Bercasio during a recently held press conference.
“This partnership of ours with the Dominica Festival Committee that we are formally announcing today is another concrete manifestation of this commitment,” he said.
According to him Archipelago Trading remains committed in assisting the nation in its continued journey towards becoming a truly resilient nation, primarily through offering assistance to the best of the company’s abilities for the public various needs.
“As you all know, we have also been doing Social outreach activities spreading good cheer directly to our brothers and sisters who need our help the most through our ArchiCheer social outreach unit,” Bercasio stated.
He mentioned further that Archipelago Trading believes in building good and lasting relationships with patrons, clients, and partners in any means possible including supporting community-building undertakings like this Festival.
“We believe in the power of a shared sense of joyfulness, destiny, and friendship,” he said.
Dewar’s Whisky has earned over 500 medals in international competitions.
The 21st edition of the WCMF is scheduled for Friday, October 25th to Sunday 27th.

It is a Blended Scotch whisky, owned by Bacardi. We do not produce whisky locally. What I do object to is the monopoly given to one brand, imported by one distributor giving visitors to the WCMF without choice.
