    The article states,

This is a foreign language to me, and I am sure to some others. Spell out what these letter organizations mean. Make some kind of footnote or something. Who and what are we dealing with here. We are not all aware of these groups / organizations etc.

I do backyard farming and get superlative pleasure to see my produce go from soil to table. By the way, you don’t have to be directly involved in tilting the soil to appreciate the work and importance of farmers. This shows that you have a tiny fish brain. You are incapable of seeing beyond your eyelashes. BIG UP to all farmers for you are the real living heroes, Ti Garcon, you should think seriously about changing your screen name to Eff Gone-Dumb

Most of the Caribbean countries are blessed with arable soil, abundant year round sunshine, copious amount of water, cheap labor and a ready market. Why then is our food import bill in the billions? We are too much consumers of goods and not producers of much of anything. Farming should be our #1 priority. Everyone has to eat to survive. Food Security is a MUST. CARICOM is a great talk shop and nothing much more.

Are u a farmer? Are your parents, children, brothers or sisters farmers? Too often its lazy people commenting on who should go into farming but they themselves to lazy to go in the sun. So just keep quiet if you too fresh to go sweat, because you yourself is the problem.
