The United Workers Party of Dominica (UWP) hosted a comprehensive COVID-19 discussion on the topic of COVID-19 and the vaccines on Sunday September 2021. The discussion was conducted via zoom and streamed on their Facebook page.

TO :DS whoever you are .I served two 5 yr terms as DAAS President up to 2010 At the end of my terms we found no one to take up the mantle of leadership and DAAS role as participant in Dominica’s developmemt unfortunately declined This decline was compounded by lack of interest in partnership by the DLP government

I followed the discussion between Drs Baptiste and Benjamin.. It was very informative and educational We must thank Lennox Linton /UWP for setting it up..It also demonstrated the value of creating linkage between the Dominican DIASPORA and locals skilled and professional to broaden and deepen discussion on national issues It was the intention of the Dominica Academy of Arts and Sciences (DAAS) to encourage these linkages Unfortunately in spite of our best efforts the DLP Government did not implement policies in the draft policy document that was submitted to PM Skerrit back in 2004..and in response to his request for such a document..In fact Dr Collin McIntyre thought we were trying to run the country “by remote control” and that killed the effort
What became of DAAS, may I ask? Is it defunct?
Is this ugly Lenny at the top of the class? We need a PM who is charismatic, handsome, magnetic, eloquent, indomitable. Are there any more Maurice Bishops in the Caribbean? I think the Dominica political landscape can surely dispense with ugly Lenny.

Ugliness lies in ones heart not externally in his physical features. Most criminals are externally pretty or handsome, but their hearts are desperate and wicked.
