MIAMI– The United States’ National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is predicting an above-average hurricane season this year.
NOAA says there is a 70 per cent chance of 12 to 18 named storms, which could become one of the six to ten projected hurricanes.
NOAA said three to six of those weather patterns could become major hurricanes, with sustained winds from 111 miles per hour (mph) or higher.
Hope those sea walls and bridge projects aren’t too severely affected……..
yea baby yea
JAH guide and protect us from all the storms and hurricanes, through CHRIST the MESSIAH i pray amen, thanks and praises.
Let’s see whose right, NOAA or Harold Camping?
All of us should prepare as best as we can. No one knows the future. We cannot predict a direct hit by a hurricane this year. If we do get hit, the Island could be set back decades but early and effective preparation would minimize the effects of a hit.
Also, the public should remember to stock up on food essentials throughout the hurricane season so they do not have supermarket staff working late into a storm watch or warning due to last minute purchases. They too have to get home to help secure their families and belongings.
