Today is Mother’s Day

Good morning Guys and Girls!

On behalf of all the men here, who forgot that they caused some of the ladies here to be a Mother, I take the privilege to wish all of you Mothers a blessed Day today.

Give thanks to God for the privilege of a new year to spend with your children, to receive a phone call, an email message, or a surprise visit from those who live away from home, from time to time.

As you think of yourself to be a Mother, today, remember also the blessedness of God’s love for you, when He flourished your womb that you were able to reproduce–whatever the number of children you have at  this time.

According to the Bible, the woman who was barren in ancient time, took it as shameful–like a curse on her.  Some of them, like the woman named Hannah, prayed to God, that she might conceive a son to her husband, who had children with his second wife.   She promised that she would give that son back to God.

God answered her prayers, and she did just as she promised.   She gave that son back to God, he was raised by a priest named Eli.  He was the one who observed Hanna praying, but in a whisper, so he accused her of being drunk with wine, early in the morning–can you believe that?

Hannah’s son’s name was Samuel, the prophet who guided the Kings of ancient Israel, like Saul and David. My own mother conceived 15 times.  2 were stillborn and 3 died as young babies.  10 of us are alive–8 grown women, with our own children and 2 grown men, only one has a daughter–my beautiful Carlyn, who sings with the Fanatics musical group.  I only have one, but I consider myself just as blessed.

Let us give praise and thanks to God Almighty, because of His great Love for us, through His only begotten Son, His Person of Love, who is Jesus Christ!  Amen!

Have a great day today!

Thank you Margaret, I am glad that you have proved to us how far away we can be seen on the Internet. I hope you will continue to visit us, from there, from time to time.

I hope that our people of Dominican will take heed, and to do their best to raise our country through positive messages instead of focusing on the few things that so negative among us.

Thank you again, my far away sister in Jesus Christ. “In the sweet bye and bye we will meet on that beautiful shore”. That is my hope for sure Love you!

Very nice, you left out one detail about Hanna she vowed never to cut her sons hair. This is the reason for the real Rastaman to sport his dreads. Not a hairstyle for Bad Boyz but a sign of being a humble servant like Lofty for example.

Thank you for accepting my story; and I am glad that you are familiar with Hannah’s story in the Bible.

And I pray that you are familiar with many other stories there–the Word of God in the Bible is a complete guide–like a map and much, much more– for our journey towards reconciliation and Life with God Almighty, by our faith in His Person of Love–the Man Jesus Christ.

I could have written a lot more about Hannah, but the message I was sending was to remind mothers that God has blessed their wombs and He wants us to love our children just as much He loves them and us as well

At 1st. Samuel 1: 11, it is said that as Hannah prayed to the Lord: “She made a vow and said, “O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a maled child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his Life, and no razor shall come upon his head”

So you have said it right! Blessings!

By the way I am Elizabeth Lina Xavier, living in Toronto, Canada. Most of my friends know me as Liz, so I write Liz Xavier to those who call me Liz.

The identified as Francisco Etienne Telemaque has took it on his own to disclaim my writing as my own. I really resent that and I am disappointed as well.

Francisco you had no right to that. It is my duty to declare “impersonation” not yours–especially that you are so wrong! Any person on our email forum knows that this article above is my writing–including the art work to hiighligt the theme of the story.

So those of you who read the comments of Francisco Etienne Telemaque, pertaining to me, in the other article of Mother’s Day–I have not idea why he did not write that comment to this article–pleace give him as many thumbs down as you can, he does not know what he is talking about–once again I saying that he had no right to write that comment–don’t you agree?

        Correction:

I intended to write “male” amd not maled

Also, it should be “please” give him– not “pleace”

Excuse other mistakes which I may not have noticed—I am sorry!
