Identity! Satan wants to steal our identity.
Some may not know so let me tell you. Man is a spirit, who has a soul and lives in a body. Our body is a house that God has given us to nurture till He returns. We have an example where Jesus encounters a demon possessed man and about 2000 persons (demons) went from that man and into a herd of pigs.
His house was loaded! Demons are disembodied persons and when we open certain doors they legally or illegally come in. Satan is a very good lawyer as we see in the book of Job. The bible also tells us that he is the accuser of the brethren.
He has two objectives.
1. To obscure the reason for our existence (for God)
2. In the event we understand who we are, his plan B is to keep us from effectively serving God.
Dressing up as particularly evil characters is dangerous. We open doors and give consent to those principalities to enter our lives. Be careful!
A demon once said that Dominicans love “baccannal”.
