All of this just speak of how ignorant these people are. It tells how much that they have not even seen photos of NYC. People, use y’all cellphones and download pics of NYC. What is trashy about that photo? Is it the fading street markings, or the building on the other side that would do with some fresh painting. FYI new york streets are not paved with gold and there are no pearly gates…that’s heaven.

All of this negative comments about people who live in New York are coming from hearts full of envy. These people either got rejected by the US Embassy when they applied for a US visa or they maybe don’t have the means to move to NY. I know it’s not every D/can who wants to live in NY but those making these comments definitely hate their lives in D/ca and yearn for a better living elsewhere. Some of these people will die from an envious heart…pitiful.

I would love to have not one Unbrella as a gift but a couple so that I can give to my Island People, so that they too can fly the flag and be proud of Dominica over here in the UK, and I know that a whole lot of non Dominicans will see it because we have plenty of rain over here. LoL . PLEASE TRY TO FIND OUT WHERE IN (New York) sells them and post a link here or on my facebook. Thanks

      June 13, 2013

It took u time to realize that everywhere has its own ghetto. I live in NYC in the ghetto and I have no problem with tht. At least my neighbors and community ppl knw me so tht makes it easier. Nothing wrong with the ghetto. It’s what u do that makes the diference. Nothing wrong with getting a start off in the ghetto and trying to move to heigher heights. Ghetto yute stand firm. We may move out of the ghetto later on in life but we should still remain humble and remember where we come from.
