Thought it was Filam-Batam come here… but Kaka-rat stay there! Interestingly, some years ago Rah of WCK fame had included this ring-game song in the Lyrics of one of CK’s pupular Bouyon tunes of the day.
That’s not how I remember that song at all.
Jakarta? I think should be Kakarat/Caca rat (meaning the person last of left behind)
Bird hunting was a favorite out door activity. We made all kinds of bird trap including sticky traps using pepen glee. Now Pipirit is no easy bird this bird is F up. They get agitated quick especially when they are nesting. I shot down different birds with my catapult but never a Pipirit nor a a Foo foo.
Pipirit can be calm but they can get like vemin lawi – loud and boisterous.
Anyway now I know better – let us save the birds.
