A coconut tree! Beautiful! Be careful that you do not fall.
A man told me that once he visited Dominica. He went with some friends to pick coconuts. He tried to help to catch coconuts. One of the coconuts fell on his foot and broke his ankle. This was the beginning of his vacation at Carnival time. He ended up in the hospital and was later transported to a plane back to overseas where he resided. The manner in which he said it made us laugh. Viewing this coconut tree brings back the memory of what he said.
I would love to have a fresh coconut with the coconut water.
I remember those days when I did that. One time when I reached the top, I say a snake, and I allowed gravity to take me down as quick as possible
*Not say but ‘saw’
@ Observer
Were you not afraid? Did you not faint?
When I was a young child, I was out of town in Dominica. I took a short-cut above the house to meet a friend. As I got to the top where there was a length of a pile of stones which supported the road above, I saw a light brown snake slithering through the stones. I do not think it was able to get out. It probably lived there. No doubt there may have been another one. As soon as my eyes fell on the snake I fainted and rolled down a hill and landed on a bed of flowers in front of the house. When I came to I got up and took another path and went to meet my friend.
She was obviously shocked at this. She asked me what happened to me. I told her what I saw.
Now that we are adults, during a conversation with her, reminiscing about the good old days in Dominica when we were younger, I mentioned this incident. She said she cannot remember. I will never forget it.
I hate those things. Even on TV I will not look at them. I cannot stand to see them. They upset me. I often wonder what good are they and for what reason they are in the world. Only God knows. I do think this is one mammal which should be eradicated from the world.
St. Patrick, a holy man, through his prayers, he eradicated them from Ireland. I wished this were so in every part of the world.
Every year the Irish Catholics celebrate their Patron Saint, St. Patrick. His Feast Day takes place in March. It is also a celebration which Catholics in specifically Europe, Canada and the U.S., participate in, the Holy Mass, dinners and shows.
The Irish wear green outfits for those functions. It is stated that at such a time, every one is Irish. All you have do is wear something green on that day and we are asked, “Are you Irish”, of course, jokingly.
There is also a St. Patrick’s Day Parade which takes place on the Sunday, also in Canada. I thought that I would share this with and the other readers.
God bless!
actually a snake is a reptile not a mammal.
Dear truth,……., am sorry but i couldnt read to the end of your article. I thought the topic was nice fresh ccoconuts, when did it change to serpents?

Charmin:
You have your head in a hole. Take it out from there. Note the thumbs down that you received; 24 of them. This tells that many people are displeased and also disgusted with your unfair and unjust comment.
I commend them for doing so. They are fair and just.
Keep in mind that you are addressing a fellow Dominican, a human being as yourself, even though we possess a different mentality, intellectual, character and personality trait.
Everyone deserves respect. Everyone should accord others respect, their due rights and dignity and allow them to provide their comments, such as you expect others to do to you. When are you going to learn this?
People have experience which they would like to share with others and should. I love to hear their stories. Many of us have stories to tell and about their experience. Do you have any? If you have any, especially decent ones, please share them. This makes life interesting and adds to the spice of life.
Are you are miserable and unhappy person?
Appreciate others and what they state.
You are so rude, crude and disrespectful. You are someone to be transformed.
Charmin, be kind.
May God bless you with the grace of love, consideration, kindness and respect to especially also those who comment on this Website. This goes for each and everyone who negatively comment on this Website.
