A couple rusty roofs, a war ship and dreary grey bayside. Where is the beauty??? Optimism is good but sometimes it is taken too far.

I think you eyes got a few rust spots in it. Most of the pics on DNO really isn’t for the pple living in DA to enjoy since we are use to them on a daily basis. I think U lack a sence of beauty within which blurs ur viSion.

Saying a big welcome to those adoard and hope that you enjoyed your selves on our little island. Do take care and have a good sail to whereever you are to go next!

When a large ship comes into port I thought it did both tie to the wharf and drop its anchor. Otherwise it is possible to lose its mooring and drift away from the dock.

??????? And your point being? Cause I’m lost! That sounds very much like an unfinished statement so save us the confusion and finish your comment with a point that actually makes some form of sense!

Some Dominicans can really sound like fools.

Everybody wants to be a genius.

Why you could not just talk about the beauty in the photo?

Is Woodbridge Bay in Fond Cole considered part of Roseau for nautical purposes? Just asking…….

Actually the municipal boundaries of Roseau are Ravine Cocque (just before you reach the Canefield Cliffs) on the North all the way to river Canari (just before Sisserou Hotel) on the south. On the East, Roseau goes as far back as Silverlake and maybe also includes Louisville.

      Just telling :)

“Drop anchor” has a variety of meaning including ‘to arrive at a destination.’

I’m with you on this Dorival – when I read some comments on DNO I can only resort to shaking my head – literally – at some commenters; the ignorance some exhibit is breathtaking. A non-Dominican reading some of these comments can be excused if they’re inclined to wonder whether there are any schools on this island we love so much.
