The above view is really not bad. But Roseau really need to do something about its sidewalk. Sidewalks play a great role in the enjoyment of a city. i cannot believe in 2011 businesses and private people are allowed to build and take up the sidewalk. The is so unpleasant and dreadful. It makes people relucant to visit your city. We need laws to prevent this. The sidewalk should be for pedestrians. If you change that we will have a city that everyone will want to visit.

great aerial view of roseau, but allow me to make one observation, and that is to do with the actual photo shoot, the contrast and focus was not well represented,it might have been the hour of the day,to much sunlight,to much whiteness or sun glare, the photo looks kind’a bleak, that’s just my personal point of view, not in any way offensive to the artist.

I love this photo showing Roseau quite built up rather than the perspective of shanti town so many people have. Roseau may not be the best city, especially with its horrible side walks. But the buildings are not bad! Thats my take!

I agree with you there, except when you venture out on foot the experience is depressing. I do wish that the on the ground bit would enhance the experience of the aerial view. Dominica is beautiful and can be even more so if we forget politics and government and do it ourselves because it’s for us to enjoy and be proud off.
