Those are the days that I remember growing up as a child. We would go to the river and make basin and would swim all day. Let the youth enjoy their time because there is only one life to live.
Dominica has a lot of unpolluted waters and will still have these waters once we keep our trees alive.

Looks like the “swimmers” are testing their “lalin”, i.e. to see who can hold his breath underwater the longest.

HHmmmm. Enjoy as much as you all can, for I do not know if our future generation will be able to.
There are all sorts of days in Dominica… I think there should be a ‘tree planting day’ as well, otherwise all this abundance of water will just be.. in the past.

Yes FACE-UP!! You better go into the Potomac in Maryland, the Dominican Republic or Guyana FACE-UP with all the recycled sewer water, trash, pollution, poop, pee, vomit, carcinogens, dead animals, toxic waste, even dead folks, or you will come out with your face disfigured. “Dog on It” Why don’t some Dominican folks just shut up when they hear or see other folks trying to put a positive spin on things that concern DA? If you do not have anything positive to say about DOMINICA where you took your first breath of life, and where you may have to run back to when America begins to kick black folks out, keep your clappers shut and stay in the project in America where you landed. I am so sick of it.

U are so unpatriotic to talk like this about our rivers. Have u gone to the upper parts of the layou river? Have u gone to the castle bruce river? have u gone to concord and so many other places where we have rivers that are deep and clean and pollution free. Do ur homework before u critize our river. Ignorance is a crime!

This is so pathetic. At least we have them. Rivers a drying up all over the world in anycase. But we still have a lot of great pools to go and chill out in

If only you had a little geograpy at school you would have at least understood the larger the land mass the more tributaries(small rivers) those rivers have flowing into them thereby increasing(a) the volume of water flowing into that river and(b) the deeper they tend to be in some places. You see a few days you spend somewhere legal or illegal, you already where you came from.Poor diable.
