Photographers – novice, amateur or professional – in Dominica are asked to submit photos, photographer credit and caption to [email protected] for consideration for the Photo of the Day feature, daily on dominicanewsonline.com or news.dm.

Submissions can be accompanied by a brief profile and contact information of the photographer. Submissions will be published in the order they were received.

Photos must be taken of Dominicans and things Dominican. Note that submissions advertising any form of business or business activity will not be published.

Dominica News Online also encourages the submission of a variety of photos, ranging from nature shots, people shots, weird shots, interesting human interest shots, and anything ‘newsy.’

    every time Liat put me in DA,the first thing I do is run to take alook and smell of that river because where I live don’t have any ,please cherish what you have.

    Bouy da pictha eh look good. Noh mine wah de ha fu say. Dominica is beautiful. I have enjoyed many a good picnic in that river a little distance above the airport . Refreshing indeed and beautiful. I Love this land, this land God gave to me.

    Great shot Beverly. I took a pix from a smiliar perspective, while the paint had not yet flaked off the railing. Nice clear, haze-less day for scenery photography.

    please folks am not criticizing but the truth is the pics look much like a painting. Too much effects! LEss effects woulda make it look more real….more beautiful!!

      Good observation…the paint is peeling and the river looks blue, a nice blue though. The peeled areas give the appearance of a large pipe carrying water, which is what I thought the photo was about. I must be a pessimist.
