PHOTO OF THE DAY: Heading to the pot

Photographers – novice, amateur or professional – in Dominica are asked to submit photos, photographer credit and caption to [email protected] for consideration for the Photo of the Day feature, daily on dominicanewsonline.com or news.dm.

Submissions can be accompanied by a brief profile and contact information of the photographer. Submissions will be published in the order they were received.

Photos must be taken of Dominicans and things Dominican. Note that submissions advertising any form of business or business activity will not be published.

Dominica News Online also encourages the submission of a variety of photos, ranging from nature shots, people shots, weird shots, interesting human interest shots, and anything ‘newsy

    Look at the water in the background, so clean and nice and refreshing. Thank you Lord for what you have provided for us in DA. We are blessed and appreciate that.

    zor when I was small my mom dumped a bunch of dem things on the step and I was playing with them with a stick. Next thing I know she throughing dem in boiling water. Papa mete, to dis day I cannot eat crab :cry: de lady tramautize me!Same thing she do my sister when she kill her “pet” fowl and cook it. LOL!

        I choose my username based on what I want to say. I don’t keep the same name all the time. I had no idea that name was already taken and to me it’s not even an issue. There are other things for you to be concerned about than a stupid name. GET A LIFE!!!!!!!

    in oct i went home and my sister had some at my moms house boy i take that and cook i eat that and look maypwee sher give me for her crab cause i did not leave any or her but guess what she in dominica all the time pass i passing

    Padna pass that nuh boy. That is a “Ceeweek”. These were and still are the natural foods that our for-parents ate which caused them to live long healthy lives.

    Down by the river, washing your clothes on a river stone, we would catch some of these and heat them up when we get home. Yeah those were the days.
