PHOTO OF THE DAY: Hey, who are you looking at?

Photographer was surprised when this iguana walked into the yard and stared.

THESE LIZARDS KEEP EATING EVERYTHING I PLANT…I AM ABOUT TO BLOW…I AM PATIENT WITH THEM, AND TRYING MY BEST TO KEEP THEM AWAY IN A SAFE AND NATURE LOVING WAY..BUT THEY KEEP COMING IN, THEY KEEP DIGGING. THEY KEEP CLIMBING…ONLY REAL AND EFFECTIVE PREVENTION IS TO FENCE MY YARD WITH GALVANIZE ROOFING SHEET….BUT THAT IS COSTLY….SMH….

Admin, thanks for assuming I’m a guy. For the viewers, I’m an environmentalist, I wasnt interested in eating it. It’s a shame that most Dominicans would jump at the chance to slaughter the endangered animal.

ADMIN: That is why we ask in our disclaimer to send as much info as possible when submitting photos.

Oh, photographer, it is your choice not to eat or to eat. No one said it was silly of you to simply photograph the appetizing-looking critter. No need to «shame» those who choose to imagine it in their plate.

BTW, Photographer, the iguana, like the turtle and manicou, etc, is one of our traditional delicacies. Yes, it is currently under threat but still, this pic you took makes my mouth water.

      Great pic!
