No wonder DA is called the Nature island in the Caribbean. We are so blessed with nature and don’t even know it. We need to appreciate what we have because many people are leaving the industrial countries to get a piece of what we have.
I was just reading a book where the author said that cancer has spread due to so many industries and automobiles that release carcinogens in the air.
We also need to realize that with “progress’ comes a price. When nature is destroyed, the inhabitants are affected; animals, plants and humans.

We are talking about the beauty of our country Dominica.. What does the Prime Minister being “bad” have to do with this? Does everything for you Dominicans have to be about politics? My Lord!

I have enjoyed that warm pool in many occasions on my way back form visiting the Boiling Lake. Teere is a ledge on the right-hand side, and so you can sit and enjoy, or let the water glide down over our head. That’s now the more popular if 3 pools in step-like arrangement.

It’s just after the valley of Desolation on the way to the boiling lake and people can and do bathe there. I went with a few friends back in May and we took the bath on the way back

Problem was after that relaxing hot water bath you have to go back and that 2 hours remaining to reach back not easy when your muscles want to sleep

Went there with with a hiking group couple years ago and the same thing happened to me.After bathing in those nice warm pools my legs could hardly bring me back to laudat.Going to the boiling lake was the most awesome part of my trip to DA.Iknow a lot of Dominican who has never been there and i always brag on them. Big up Desmond from DOMLEC and the hiking crew. One love.

I would like to know off which road or trail this is so that I can visit this place. I know it is on the way to boiling lake, but are there any more detailed directions? Thank you for your response. It is a very beautiful picture. Thank You Corlene Dubison for sharing this.

Just after the valley of desolation on your way to boiling lake you will see the river flowing alongside your route continue along through the shrubbed area and you’ll see a small clearing where you can go down to it it’s actually not the only one but the one at the base there is another small pool directly above that one
