this is the kind of sights that we need to start promoting and building facilities around to get the tourist to come to our lovely island.a sight like that being promoted could bring millions into our country yearly.when people take cruises and long vacations this is what they want to enjoy.sad to see that our leaders are not taking advantage of to promote.they care about making dirt deals with china venezuela and morroco, there is an uprising brewing up in morroco so lets see how far this hotel will get.

Nature untouched indeed. The creation and hand of God.
Oh my! When I saw this picture, it took my breathe away. I was mesmerized by its beauty. I said: “Wow! What a picture! What beauty! Makes me homesick indeed. Words are not enough to express my feelings.
Congratulations to you who took that picture.
Sweet Dominica the land of beauty…

Dominica needs to have managed and structured development. If we don’t, as the world sees the rise in food prices and that of oil, as the world’s reserve of oil falls, persons are going to turn to mother nature in an ad hoc way to resolve their needs. As the world economic crisis depends and the possibility of a double dip recession looms over our heads and many persons look at returning to their native lands, we might just find ourselves with a little Haiti on our hands in the next 15 – 20 years.

Were you attempting to comment about the picture of the day, or am I missing something here?

      LMAO,

If you could, elucidate on your reason for making this assertion. You may be onto something here, only I can’t see the connection to the most gorgeous natural phenomena 3,000 feet above sea level and a good 7-10 miles inland.

Haiti, once called the Pearl of the Antilles because of it’s breath taking natural beauty…then came the dictators along with poverty, hunger, unemployment and little or no opportunities for its people. See what it became? Connect the dots my friend, connect the dots.

LMAO Please pray for your country… and stop comparing to some country that has suffered some setback. We also do have to pray for them as well. Let us praise the Father for all the beautiful things in our country and be thankful to him. It was only today that some one remarked that it is only we here who enjoy “cursing and saying bad things about our country” . Let us desist from doing just that as our tongues are very powerful. Let us look at all the good we have here and praise our Father daily and ask him to continue preserving us. Those who look up to him will be able to ask to preserve our land against the wiles and tongues of the evil ones.

Be blessed and let us make positive comments and leave out the negative of our mouths. Yes indeed beautiful country! :-D :-D
