This is beauty at its best. The sunset has always been a beautiful sight to behold.
But, really, what is the significance of the setting of the sun? I read somewhere, “…and the evening and the morning were the second day….”. I have to conclude that the 24-hour cycle actually begins at sunset, in the evening. The day begins when the sun goes down. Science has lately confirmed that powerful cleaning and rebuilding activities take place in our environment at night. That’s why the morning air is so clean and fresh, the lilies are so full of fragrance, the dog barks and the roster crows. There is a cycle of filtering taking place in the night, so when the sun comes out in the morning, we are rested, refreshed and in the proper state of mind to start working. Human muscles grow while we rest; our beards also grow at rest. It would seem that the Creator of life has a powerful message for the race that rest is actually part of the recipe for life. Not just nightly rest, but also the Sabbath rest which, interestingly, begins when the sun goes down on Friday. He who has a mind, let him consider these things.
One also has to consider that vehicular traffic is at a minimum during the night. The fumes from these vehicles are a major contributor to air pollution. Then most furnaces and other fires are put out or or switched off during the night hours and this also helps to reduce nightly air pollution. Nothing like fresh morning air. But I have deviated from the topic here….awesome pic!!
Beard does not grow during the day? Allu people is something else eh!!
The picture of the sunset is a beautiful sight!
Do you not know the calendar? The following day begins from 12:00 A.M.
Christians have a mind and always did. What religion do you belong to? The Christian Sabbath begins from 12:00 a.m. Sunday morning and not before. Anyone who observes another day as the Sabbath is a protestant and you know the meaning of protestant.
I wish to correct this. Anyone who observes another day as the Sabbath, “did not accept Our Lord Jesus Christ as Our Lord, King and Saviour.” Of course, they are still protestants.
When people tell me that they are protestants I ask them what are they protesting about? They do not respond.
We Catholics know why they call themselves protestants, their ancestors having renounced their Catholic faith to form their own religion and church. Some others today have done likewise and amassed followers, some of whom were practicing Catholics.
C’mon “Justice and Truth”. Is it the calendar that made the day? Which came first; the day or the calendar? The word of God said, “the evening and the morning were the first day….”. How dare you put a calendar BEFORE the word of God? There is only one Sabbath; the one created by God in the beginning. If you really wish to know which day is the Sabbath, here is a reference to help you, Luke 23:46 to 24:2. You only need to remember that Jesus was crucified and died on a Friday, which we now call Good Friday. Happy reading.
This is magnificent. Very nice photo.
