    This is the Lion’s Ear plant, Scientific name leonotis nepetifolia. It is also locally known as the ‘gwo tet’.
    The leaves are said to possess medicinal values.

    Gwo Tete. This was our used in our floral arrangement back in the day. It could be sprayed in different colors. Memories of what use to be!

    it is called ballhead.That can make serious floral arrangement.it can be sprayed in different colours.As A CHILD MY MUM WOULD SEND US TO TO CUT THEM FOR HER TO PUT IN THE HOUSE

    Gros tete It is used as flower arrangement. The leaves are used in baths

    This is Gwo Tete – That makes a real bitter tea. Not sure what it good for but use to brink that tea regularly.

    We use to call it “Joy Juice”, lots of young people in my day would boil the fruit and drink it, it made them loco.

    ball heads or chooking plant used as a weapon by school children in the past but now in dried floral arrangements.

    There are many names to this plant. it is know was Gwo Tete, grande tête, Bal Head. It is very good to use as a cooling and is good for lotta

      Do I drink as tea, or wash the lotta area with this plant. Also, should I use the leaves or dried flower?

      Insight would be helpful.

    Long i haven’t seen this plant. A lot used to grow by the mouth of the Roseau River in Baytown area. Makes great flower arrangements!

    Gwo Tete! Not sure of the scientific name. Locally known as Gwo Tete, used in dry arrangement.

      Echinops sphaerocephalus is the scientific name…
      check Google… :-?

        Actually it is not Echinops sphaerocephalus but Leonotis nepetifolia. They may look similar but are very different
