Four families in search of their missing relatives

L-R Davy Rodney ,Marion and Alleyne Lamothe

Four families are asking for the public’s help in finding the whereabouts of their lost loved ones who have been missing for several days.

It is reported that Davy Rodney,38, and Jerquan Bruno,17, were last seen on a small fishing boat on February 4, 2023, according to family members, and neither has been seen since.

According to information, the coast guards in Guadeloupe and Dominica were both alerted, but the search was suspended after three days.

Anybody with knowledge of the whereabouts of Rodney and Bruno is urged to contact their nearest police station.

A woman named Marion (Last name not identified) who is believed to have landed in Dominica the same day via catamaran in Portsmouth is also the subject of a search by another family.

Her voyage to the island was to trek the Waitukubuli National Trail from south to north, according to a social media post from a friend of the missing woman.

However, since her arrival, no one has been able to contact the non-national.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact her sister -Maya Jeanne- via Facebook or their nearest police station.

The family of Cottage resident Alleyne Lamothe is also in search of the missing senior citizen who was last seen over a week ago.

Anybody with information on his whereabouts is encouraged to call the Portsmouth police station or 316 1881 or 274 4760.

Police often ask for the public’s help and support in finding criminals – Most crimes in Dominica are committed in broad daylight by people in dark tinted windows which makes it impossible to see who the perpetrators are; How the hell these criminals are going to get caught? At nights their vehicle license plate number is vague and unidentifiable. Dominica is in dire need of a leader who has a clear vision for the safety of all Dominicans. This country has been running on empty for the past 20+ year. It’s time for new leadership before we run short on Dick Taylor-Ship.

Martha has clearly never owned a car.. the sun makes the car hot Martha. One day when you have a car you’ll find this out for yourself. In the meantime, best to stay quiet as you have no experience of it yourself. You’re a bus rider only or maybe you just have your slippers to travel on.

I own two cars, none of which is darkened but fitted with factory UV reflecting light green glass. Does the job much better than your after market nonsense which is full of little bubbles and dimples. Get out of here, man. You do not know what you are bubbling about!

Any vehicle that come into Dominica without tinted glasses, and want to put tinted glasses must first apply to the traffic commissioner(commissioner of police) before doing so.It is an offence. The police are the chief breakers of the law,so they cannot and will not enforce the law.Even public service vehicles have dark tinted glasses.

Not often I agree with you Lin but on this one I do. Vehicles with blacked out windows are creepy man. Why don’t these drivers want to be identified or do not want the public to see what or whom they are carrying. I think that is threatening and a menace, only for people who have something to hide.

All of these vehicles with dark tinted windows in this tiny Dominica is a catalyst for kidnapping and murder. The entire country is terrorized by a lawless system. It’s time to start breaking all these dark glasses.

Feller just say you want to maco people and who driving what. Most likely you want to see if your woman passing in a ride. You remind me of this people who loiter on the roadside and breaking the neck to see who in all ride that pass, and vex because you cannot see in my dark up ride even if my tinted windows fully up and i passing minding my business. I personally prefer dark tints because sometimes the sun it too hot. Plus its not your business what goes on inside my vehicle. The little girl that went missing want in a tinted vehicle. And i doubt any of these folks are in tinted vehicles either.

The rides that pass with completely darkened windows are either criminals, politicians or other members of the cabal. Which of the above do you belong to??

Ultra violet radiation is the cause of degradation and fading, particularly in plastics and fabrics. Ironically the best anti-U.V. protection clear tinting, not dark. Park your vehicle in the shade when possible.
