The electoral reforms that were recommended by Mr. Dennis Byron were too bitter for the corrupt dictator to swallow. If they were to be implemented, Roosevelt saw his grip on power loosening, and his regime disintegrating.

Where is the outrage from Dominicans? This is the perfect time to stand up and be counted. History would pour scorn on those who remain silent and give Roosevelt and the DLP a free pass to continue his plunder and obliteration of Dominica.

Where are the voices and outrage of the media, the business sector, the church, civil organisations? The CCJ has spoken without fear or favour. What about those other local and regional organisations? Don’t you have a conscience? Have you lost your moral compass? Where is the courage of your ancestors?

A great deal of wrongdoings is perpetrated in the world for the want of a little courage. Take a stand Dominicans no pain, no gain.

A human face with Satan’s heart. That’s what I saw when Skerrit announced election tonight. I mean a night when the east is under flood and instead of calling for national unity to help our brothers and sisters in the east the man chooses to use the crisis in the east to further divide the country? Awa man this is just heartless and satanic

It’s clear from the statement by Skerritt of no law and no constitution will prevent him from doing what he wants that he just doesn’t give a damn. He paid Dennis Byron about $700,000.00 to prepare a report on electoral reform and promised that the contents will be brought to parliament and reforms implemented. Now a thief in the night announcement of the dissolution of parliament and date set for the next snap election without the reforms. After the CCJ wrote that the future elections should never be conducted the same way in the future but it’s clear that this wasn’t meant for Skerritt. I’ll wait to see if the opposition parties have any strategies and any gumption or if they are scared of Skerritt and the DLP.

Roosevelt is the biggest con artist on earth. Another election without electoral reforms? No opposition political party should even think about participating in this corrupt and despotic man’s game of brinkmanship.

I guess he got the report from Dennis Byron and strongly detest the recommendations. This rotten character has no intention to create a level playing field for all political parties. Why then throw $1/2M of the people’s money into the sea?

The other members of CARICOM should distance themselves from this tainted regime. If CARICOM were to remain silent and stealthily endorse the abominable actions of Bazaar al-Assad’s protege, they should lose all credibility and legitimacy as a serious regional entity. Where are the voices of Mia Mottley and the other heads in this debacle?

    NO ELECTORAL REFORMS NO ELECTION!!!
