Antigua and Barbuda’s re-elected Prime Minister Gaston Browne was sworn into office today, along with his Attorney General Steadroy Benjamin have been officially sworn into office.
At a ceremony held at the Government House earlier today. Both the Prime Minister and the Attorney General were the first of the new Parliament to be sworn in.
It is expected that the other members of parliament will be sworn in Friday morning at the same venue.

Gsston Brown and Roosevelt Skerrit has everything in common except Gaston is a professional banker, and we know he is college and University graduate.
Gaston degrees are not bought whereas Roosevelt has two bought no value pieces of papers (marked Ph.D!)
The two pieces of papers are like a running piece of junk car in America, which are classified as running no value. A running no value care is one that may look publish and shine more than fifty or even five years old with a million miles recorded on its odometer!
Such motor vehicles when they get into accident, and the owner claims insurance money, they may get less than what they pay for insurance annually, for that no running value crap!
One man had full coverage, which includes comprehensive, and collision, and liability, when the no-value got wrecked the insurance company gave him $160.00 dollars.
I got caught up classifying Roosevelt bought Ph. D’s to a no-value running junk car; I forget to say the reason Gaston will win every Election In Antigua, is all because of the amount of dumb Dominicans living in Antigua.
They are the same idiots who return to Dominica every five years to vote Roosevelt into power, and as soon as they vote, the return to Antigua, to live like rats, because there is nothing in Dominica for them do.
As long as the party dressed in red and they hear the name Labor; expect the dumb Dominican to vote labor, because they see themselves as laborers, tillers of the soil, and usurers of the pit-hole in Antigua the same as they are accustom to in Dominica.

I am both college, and university educated; you see that is how I manage to earn the above mentioned; and mind you the money which I used to pay for my education was not stolen. What is a minority government.In the Caribbean the party wining the most seats form the government,it is not popular votes.It is the same stupidity why SHAM DOUGLAS had to use UWP to become a senator in the sham parliament of Dominica.SHAM DOUGLAS told the overeducated UWP they should not take part in the 2022 election because it was a sham,immoral and a disrespect to the Dominican people,they swallowed the bait hook,line and sinker.Today SHAM DOUGHLAS has to address Roosevelt Skerrit as,the Prime Minister in a parliament he told those aholes was immoral,a sham and a disrespect to the Dominican people.
I followed this election with interest. I wanted the UPP to be victorious. I was very disappointed after the results were announced in favour of the ABLP.
After having a short time to reflect, maybe it’s a blessing in disguise that the UPP did not win. This is the reason for my change of mind. Antigua is in a deep financial mess. They owe almost every local, regional and international lending institution. No way the Gaston Browne’s administration can repay these moneys even if they remain in office for the rest of the present century.
I’m being presumptuous here. God apparently said to Himself that they put Antigua & Barbuda in this financial crater and so the ABLP has the responsible of pulling them out. So He gave them the temporary victory.
There was no campaign financing in 1995 when UWP won the election in Dominica.By your comment you have now admitted the UWP government was corrupt.

Of course, the ABLP won the 2023 general election in Antigua & Barbuda. However, they are a minority government in terms of popularity. The opposition combined received two thousand more votes than the new government. This speaks loudly.
What was blatantly distasteful and egregious is the unbelievable millions that were spent in an effort to corrupt the electorate at a time when many citizens are going hungry and mendicant.This election is irrefutable evidence that it is imperative to have finance campaign reforms in the Caribbean territories where there are none.
Without proper, enforceable finance campaign reforms, we will continue to get corrupt governments and poor representation like we have in Antigua & Barbuda and Dominica.

This man narrowly won. In fact his margin of victory is by one seat and the difference in that one seat was just by 6 votes. So Mr Brown paperbag escaped hell’s fire by 6 votes and that’s surely not good news for him and his co friend Roosevelt Skerrit.
So yes Me Brown Paper bag got sworn in today but the heat of hell is still disturbing him because he knows now that just one resignation or one death would call for a buy election and that would be dangerous for him and Roosevelt Skerrit because they know the US is waiting like a shark waiting for a small fish.
