“I was elated when I heard our pharmacy being nominated for this prize. Our team has been working diligently to grow the standard of pharmacy in Dominica and the region has recognized that. This prize is not just for Fresh Market Pharmacy but for Dominica as it puts the spotlight on what we are capable of offering given our limitations.” Said Tehillah Bannis, Pharmacy Manager for Fresh Market Pharmacy and the Pharmacy at Best Price.
Since launching in 2019, Fresh Market Pharmacy has continually demarked itself by the quality of care and service that it provides at little cost to customers and clients.
If Fine Foods Inc could place a guard rail along the narrow side walk that leads to their entrance, thus eliminating the danger of a four-foot fall to the road below, it would do a lot to contribute to the safety of their customers.
I have raised this with fine Food management, but they tell me that the Planning Department will not allow them to place a guard rail. (Eh!)
If it would not cost anything they would have placed one already. You need to understand how these guys tick. They not in Dominica to spend money on all you but rather to take money of all you. Wise business doctrine if one gets away with it. Only in DA they do get away with it. Planning Department, my food.
Why couldn’t the young lady dress as a professional also? At least throw a lovely jacket over the dress.
Totally agree with your suggestion!!!
That is just great. I have received exceptional services from this pharmacy. It would be interesting to know who won first place. I am also surprised that I am not seeing Jolly’s pharmacy here as well. hmmmm
All I am reading is nothing more than baloney; all propaganda!
Dominica always win some crap, we have the best hotels in world, they always win something; but when you look into what they are selling, it all stinks!
I would hate to take a prescription to a pharmacy to be filled, where there not a pharmacist registered with the state.
Or at least someone with a Ph. D in pharmaceutical training!
Number one if a doctor made a mistake in prescribing a medication, the pharmacist is supposed to spot and identify the error, call the doctor and inform the doctor how the medication works, and for what disease, and in the appropriate dose; so if you are not train how can that person be a pharmacists
Everything in Dominica has to be sensational!
Baloney.
They talk as if some of us don’t know, a pharmacists job is to Educate Health Provider and Colleagues:
Doctors, nurses and other healthcare providers about new medications and drug therapy protocols.
Pharmacists also have to complete continuing education courses to maintain and renew their licenses; keep up to date on drug approvals, product recalls and changes to medications’ indications and warnings; at least in America; and make sure they comply with federal and state laws regulating pharmacy.
Since each state and U.S. territory has its own pharmacy practice law, which changes from year to year; joining a state’s pharmacy association can make learning and complying with practice regulations easier.
A pharmacist main responsibilities are to serve patients by preparing medications, giving pharmacological information to multidisciplinary health care team, and monitoring patient drug therapies.
Hope we pass the dispenser stage on Dominica!
