Former student-turned-businessman donates again to pupils of Newtown Primary School

Former student of the New Town Primary School, Mr Kyle Francis, who’s the proprietor of Standardz Agro Processing, trade name Tropipulp Dominica, has donated school supplies to selected pupils from each grade at that school.

This is the second year that Tropipulp Dominica is making such donations to the Newtown Primary and Mr. Francis thanked the principal, Miss Anita Williams, for working with him in selecting the pupils to whom the donations were made.

As a parent, Mr. Francis acknowledged that one may face financial difficulties when trying to build a firm educational foundation for his or her child. Therefore, recognizing the importance of school supplies as one of many tools that are needed to create a comfortable environment in which students can learn, the former Newtown Primary student stated, “Tropipulp will always invest in education and community alike.”
Mr. Francis continued, “We must always remind ourselves not only as parents but the business community as well, that the children are our future and we must invest to help create a better future; we must invest in that future.”
The principal of the New Town Primary Miss Anita Williams, in thanking Mr. Francis on behalf of the staff, parents, and community, said she understands how difficult it is to give back and noted how beneficial the Tropipulp Dominica donation is to the community.
” I would want to convey a heartfelt appreciation to you Mr. Francis…it’s amazing that you are supporting your neighborhood as books are expensive for some families to purchase…once again the staff and the parents give a heartfelt thanks to Standardz Agro Processing brand Tropipulp Dominica for giving back to the children of the New Town Primary School,” Ms. Williams remarked.

That is what I would expect coming from the great talkers like IBO, Jonathan and Francisco. But, all they do is talk, talk and criticize and make no contribution to the development of their own people and their own country. What a waste. The people who don’t talk at all, stay away from DNO, are the ones contributing. That is why there is that saying, Empty vessels make the most noise and most criticisms. What are waste! All they do is boast of how many degrees they have in different fields and cannot contribute anything but to give me a chemistry problem to do that he Francisco Telemakak pulled up on the internet.

Why are there so many families who encounter financial difficulties on the opening of schools? Why? Many years ago, when schools’ items were in less abundance fathers and mothers saw that their boys and girls school items including our blue and khaki short pants, our ties, ribbons etc. etc. were ever ready for September 6. How did they make it happen? 2-3 days of banana sales every week, yams, dasheen, plantains etc. at Jerry Lee depot, produce sales at the markets and neighboring islands etc. Nowadays it is dependent, dependent & dependent. Dominica has become a dependency island. Everyone looking to get something from another and no other has to give. Children are being left to see that mummy and daddy are getting, so therefore they are being brought up believing that they have to get too. Dominica’s culture has made a complete turn of what we call days of yore. Days of yore has returned to Dominica under the captaincy of the worst captain Dominica has ever had Roosevelt Chichi…
