IN PICTURES: Accident at Fond Canie

This photo shows a vehicle which plunged down an embankment on the road at Fond Canie last evening,

The good news is that no death has resulted from that accident and the two people who were onboard at the time of the accident – the driver and a passenger – are now receiving medical attention at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.

We wish them well.

Below is a video of the car being pulled up onto the road.

Good to hear the passengers are alive and are seeking medical attention. On another note we need to have some sort of symposium on motor vehicle driving and safety in Dominica. In the past 5 years we have had so many accidents particularly involving our youth that something needs to be done.
