I give thanks for the opportunity to represent JCI West Indies and serve as an ambassador for my country Dominica. This selection also shows that JCI Dominica is making tremendous progress toward being recognized as a solid organization of young active citizens and future leaders and is further testament to the hard work put in by the board and its members. I want to express my sincere gratitude to H.H.V. Whitchurch & Co. Ltd and the Discover Dominica Authority for espousing and supporting my attendance, as it allows me to showcase Dominica’s culture, heritage, and status as the world’s premier tourism destination to over 1000 delegates coming from across 50 countries.”
The American Leadership Academy’s (ALA) primary goal is to develop future leaders for National Organizations, with a particular emphasis on the development of strong leadership and administrative skills for local organizations, as well as learning how to use JCI tools to benefit your local organization.
In addition to participating in the American Leadership Academy, Ms. Felix will represent JCI Dominica in the JCI Conference of the Americas, which will be held in Willemstad, Curacao from May 18th to 21st, 2022.
