Kenya to spend $37 million on sending forces to Congo

Members of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) take part in a flag-handover ceremony, ahead of a future deployment to eastern Congo as part of the newly-created East African Community Regional Force (EACRF)

BBC News reports: NAIROBI, Kenya — Kenya’s parliament has approved the deployment of nearly 1,000 troops for a new regional force in eastern Congo amid questions about the $37 million cost for the first six months of the mission.

What I find with many of these African countries, it is easier to get hold of a gun than to procure food.

There are just too many civil and cross-border wars on the African continent. The USA is made up of fifty different states but they are one country. They have become the most powerful country in the world. Conversely, Africa is made up of fifty-four (54) countries, they have remain separated, ad is the poorest continent in the world. Unity always trumps division.

The spoils of invasions and conquest. The Western countries conquered, “broke” up the Continent and Haiti, then control with surgical precision. All strategic moves to keep the resources that build Europe and America. With your mindset you’d be a great leader there and an equally great funeral. Your sentiments were expressed by Kwame Nkruma as soon as Ghana 1st to get independence from the west, others have tried. Immediately murdered. And, an idiot of the western countries choice placed in leadership. Others have tried, and have been used to fuel the many coups that have become the western countries mode of operation in Africa. Would you like to give it a try?

How can one blame outsiders when his own brother is doing the enemy’s bidding? What a shame. Here we are in 2022 and not much has changed.
