The OECS yesterday joined the international community in recognising World Environment Day under the theme, “Our land. Our future.” 🌿
Below is a sneak peek of a documentary film that was produced by the OECS. It features students pursuing a two-year diploma-level training in the management and conservation of forests, parks, wildlife, and the environment at the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT), Agora Campus. This initiative is funded by the European Union through the OECS Integrated Landscapes Management Project (ILM).
The OECS, in partnership with the European Union, is executing the ILM to optimise the contribution of land to agriculture, food security, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and the preservation of ecosystems and the essential services they provide.
