WEATHER (6:00 a.m.): Flood watch in effect for Dominica

Unstable weather conditions are expected to increase the chance of showers, which could be moderate to heavy at times and thunderstorm activity during the next 12 to 24 hours. A Flood Watch is in effect from 6am to 6pm. People in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks should be on the alert.

Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours, with waves peaking near 7.0ft along the eastern coast.
