WEATHER (6:00 PM, April 29), 2022: People in areas prone to flooding, landslides, falling rocks asked to exercise caution

A heavy shower of rain pouring down at Canefield earlier this evening

Elevated moisture levels and the presence of a surface trough are expected to maintain cloudiness with scattered showers which could be moderate to heavy at times and light rain, particularly over the northern portion of the Lesser Antilles, during the next 24 hours.

People in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks should remain on the alert for possible isolated, heavy showers.

Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with northerly swells peaking to 8.0ft. A High Surf Advisory is in effect. Small craft operators, sea bathers and people living near to or traversing coastal areas are advised to exercise caution.

With this very inclement weather, my heart goes out to Jumbo and his wife, and those who still reside under a tent or live in dry weather houses.

These people cannot rest nor sleep well while Roosevelt and his family are basking in a palace at the expense of poor tax payers.

The citizens of a country can be judged by the way they treat the poorest among themselves. How ironic that Roosevelt is receiving awards for his sterling leadership while so many citizens are homeless, no shelter from the elementsr. It hurts!

Roosevelt and his enablers should hang their heads in eternal shame. May God have mercy on these suffering brothers ad sisters.
