JCI Kiddies Carnival’s third time around

Junior Chambers International (JCI) Dominica recently held its third successful Kiddies Carnival Event. The first edition was in 2019 and the second was in 2020.

From its inception, JCI Dominica has partnered with Discover Dominica Authority and Dominica Festivals Committee, along with numerous other partners over the years to ensure a fun, safe, child-friendly, and child-focused carnival event for the children of Dominica.

As the foremost global network of young leaders, JCI Dominica has plans to continue to empower the youth of Dominica through the provision of developmental opportunities.

“We continue to be a leadership-building organization, and our members and the community will continue to receive training, network, and project-creation opportunities.  The organization will continue to promote the talents of young people, give them opportunities to grow, and set them on a path to greater success, “ JC Aisha Jno-Baptiste stated.

She noted that Kiddies Carnival is progressing nicely and although the organization has a few partners and is still making efforts to secure more, the committee is working tirelessly to ensure that it upholds the organization’s standard while delivering exceptional Kiddies Carnival products to the children of Dominica.

“We have so far secured partnerships from KFC Dominica, Smalta, G-Reckson Project Services, Mergenesis, and OECS Pearl,” she said.

“We also invite the schools to participate in this great carnival event that is specifically designed for them.”

JCI Dominica is fulfilling the vision of Jaycees to be the leading global network of young leaders through events such as the JCI Dominica Kiddies Carnival, Read with Me, Dream Come True, and the robust recruitment program.
