L’Express Des Iles through its general agent H.H.V Whitchurch and Co. Ltd. has come to the unanimous decision to continue and increase sponsorship to Ajaniah Casimir in the form of L’Express Des Iles tickets required to compete in the French West Indies.

L’Express Des Iles representative, Michelle Joseph said this decision to continue support to Ajaniah was an easy one because he has not only displayed dedication to the field of cycling but has shown commitment to overall self-development in his community and school life.

“As you know Ajaniah is involved in numerous activities to include sports, academia, and recently I heard on the radio debating,” she said.

“L’Express Des Iles is focused on its efforts to continuously give back to the local community which has always been a pillar of support for its overall business function, just last year June we would have made a commitment to provide tickets to young Casimir for the remainder of 2022 and today we announced that from January 2023 we have made a commitment to provide… a journey to his father and the coach’s travel arrangements to all the French territories that he will compete in.”

She stated he will also be provided with apparel to compete. Joseph expressed that Casimir is on a path of excellence in the field of cycling and beyond and has placed top in numerous competitions in the last few months.

“We invite the entire of Dominica particularly the corporate arena to embrace and support his cycling journey in any way possible,” she asked.

The Dominican cyclist, Ajaniah Casimir shared some words of gratitude at the presentation of his scholarship.

“It’s overwhelming to see the amount of support that I’m getting from everyone around me and I am truly thankful and grateful for it,” he said

“Cycling is a sport that brings me immense joy and immense happiness but there’s an extra happiness when I feel like I’m being supported so I’m very truly thankful for all the help that I am getting and your confidence in me for sponsorship so that is a big plus.”

Casimir said he will represent the company to the best of his ability and is grateful for the investment.
