[Loop News]Guyana: Opposition member surrenders to police

The executive member of the opposition Working People’s Alliance (WPA), Tacuma Ogunseye on Friday surrendered to police less than 24 hours after a wanted bulletin had been issued for him in relation to incitement allegations.

Ogunseye was accompanied by attorneys Nigel Hughes and Darren Wade.

    This is the inconvenient truth. Once the party comprised mostly of people of Indian descent, racism will raise its ugly head.

    The PPP/C (Indo-Guyanese Party) uses the police and army to harass, intimidate and suppress and oppress Blacks. This may sound crude but it’s true. These Indians are some of the most racist people on earth.

    I hope that Mr. Ogunseye will be completely exonerated of these trumped up charges levelled at him by this prejudiced, despicable government. We have to call a spade a spade.

      They have outbred the blacks in Guyana. When i was young, a guyanese friend of the family explained that this is what they were doing, i found it funny, at the time but this is the result of generations. Its a sad situation.
