Key ideas developed at the meeting include; Capacity Building for members of the NYCD Media Team; improved coverage and documentation of youth development activities; a collaborative youth development program to be implemented in 2014.

NYCD President Jahisiah Benoit noted, “It is encouraging to see that local media houses hold matters of youth development higher on their agenda, and that youth empowerment is a key aspect to their company, to the extent that they are willing to strengthen and work with the NYCD, in particular the NYCD Media Team”
