I’m glad that these students get the opportunity to go abroad. Do you the government really know the true history of China? This country is very strick with their rules and regulations one mistake will get you in a pot of hot water. I think that the high-power government is blind to other countries rules. I pray that none of these students don’t do anything wrong when they do go over to China. God bless them and keep them safe.
They will be the future leaders of Dominica trained in China when Dominica becomes a Chinese colony in the near future, they have to learn the Chinese system of government. Some of them may also be officers in the Chinese navy based at Portsmouth at the new Chinese navy base being planned.
Technically speaking Skerrit sending our young people to learn communism knowing that they will move to a free county like the US. But thank God by the time these young people graduate he and his dictatorship will be out and we will be a free country again
Congrates dr lewis and alexander my peeps proud of u both
First, let me congratulate the 12 young persons that will be going to China to attend University. Education is always a good thing and I wish you all God’s very best!!!
But DNO this article is missing some very important information you know. DNO I wish you would use your journalism skills to tell us:1. How many Dominicans in the last 15 years that studied and graduated from China 2. How many returned to Dominica 3. How many are currently employed here. In addition to that can you also tell us how many 1: went to study in the USA 2. How many returned 3. How many are locally employed. I believe your readers would be very happy for that information so we could see if those sent to study are people our government sending out to better help develop our country, or if it is our government;s way of getting Dominicans out of the country for their personal reasons.
Thank you for that. I posted a similar question and it seems to have been blocked. My concern is are we getting the benefit of the studies of these grads
ADMIN: Your comment was also published. The number of scholarships provided is in the story its over 150. Unfortunately, we don’t possess the time and resources to follow up on every request for information. There is no guarantee there are records of this nature which makes any research very time consuming with low probability of results.
Hello ADMIN. Do something for us please. Check to see how many students have gone to China, what years, field of study and how many have returned and where are they employed.
China is communism, and this is what our country is heading too,Skerrit your a waste.
