One man was injured and was taken to hospital as a result of a vehicular accident which occurred at about 5:30 pm on Thursday.
The accident took place on the road to Castle Bruce just after L’iviere L’or.
Someone who was at the scene of the accident told DNO that the driver and two other passengers walked away from the crash site with no injury.
According to the information received, the driver told paramedics and firefighters at the scene, that he was not driving fast but felt the pick-up truck pulling away from the road.
He said he tried to avoid slamming into an electric pole but ended up in a very deep ravine.
The men were on their way to the Kalinago Territory to buy arts and crafts when the accident occurred.
The wise men came from the East.everyone comments were caring, sympathetic, considerate and to the point.Drivers, when you lose control, the engine takes over
Dno needs to block the comments section on every article posted. nobody needs to see the garbage that you people write on here. Shameful!!!!!!
He is fortunate that no one was fatally injured. Police investigation, the driver said he was not speeding. This could easily be checked to determine if he was speeding or not. This is, if you have that type of system to do so. His brakes should be checked. Was his vehicle road-worthy?
I am so happy that they are all alive. Do not need anymore bad news! Thank you Jesus!
The driver was not driving fast? That would be a first in Dominica. How the heck did he lose control of his vehicle if he was not driving too fast for the condition?
My friend if you were driving as slowly as you would like us to believe, you would have recovered from the “pulling” you spooke of.
Thank God no one got killed thats the most important.
there were three men in the vehicle who according to a witness walked away, however one man went to hospital? Based on the story I have no idea if this man was one of the tree or a bystnder or what..
What’s your point? Are you trying to interpret what was already said in the story? I don’t get it
oh oh so sad, look at kendra in the background, be careful drivers, the devil is just busy. thank God you all are safe, and the one hospitalized will be well.
Sad, I’m happy you’re ok sir. Give thanks to God
T0 God be the Glory” No one got injured!!!
Please. The article BEGAN with the sentence “one man got injured and was taken to the hospital…” Read carefully because this is just how inaccurate information gets around.
How true! The article clearly stated that one was injured and was taken to the hospital. How could they have missed it or overlooked it?
Good Dominican hospitality. seeing the nurse treating the patient right there.
To God be the glory.
I wish the passenger that was taken to the hospital a speedy recovery. Thanks God the other two are doing ok.
ok…he was not driving fast!
Thank God no one got hurt.
Praise God, could have been worse
Thank God they are alive, and did not hit the electric pole. Gas and electricity would be a deadly combination. Hope he had good tires, good brakes. Thank the Lord for small mercies, he knows best. Dominica, we love u and we must drive carefully on the roads.
If he was not speeding as he stated, the accident could have been caused by faulty brakes. Or are there any evil spirits in that area?
