A toddler reportedly died in a fire which occurred in Kingshill on Wednesday morning.

“It’s a very sad situation,” he said.
He stated that according to information he received the child is one year and six months old.
More information on this incident will be published as soon as it becomes available.
Gotta love the comments about having jobs and booming economy will automatically prevent fires. There are multimillion dollar building catching fire in rich countries with excellent economic activity and children
/ adults die of smoke inhalation.
Sorry for the loss to this family I can only imagine what the immediate family feels right now. Hope they seek out grief counseling and are able to get solace from supporting friends and families. All the best. This is really heart breaking !!!
Will they investigate the cause of this fire?
How does a baby die and there’s no report of injury to adults?
Did the adults save themselves?
It is so sad to learn that a baby perished in a fire. Condolences go out to the family and friends who are grieving.
Deepest Condolences & Sympathies to the bereaved Family… May the good Lord provide You with His consolation, Mercies & Peace at this time of Loss & Grief. & May All the Angels & Saints of God carry this child to the very throne of the Most High Jesus Christ Our Lord, God & Saviour. Take courage & give All Your burdens to the Lord for He cares for You! (See 1 Pet 5:7, Matt 11:28).
Condolences to the grieving family. May you find comfort and peace as you prepare to bury your loved one.
Heart-felt sympathy to the parents and relatives of the toddler. I only could imagine the pain of losing a child so young in such a horrific manner. In this day and age, no one should be living in such dilapidated and deplorable houses. Living in such wretched conditions is to live on the brink of survival. This is just unacceptable. Proper housing should be a priority for the government. The economy should be producing good paying jobs so most people will be able to build reasonably comfortable homes. But, there will always be some indigent ones who will need assistance. I hope the aching souls of the family members will find solace in the strength and support that they will receive from fellow Dominicans and from divine intervention.
If you look closely to the left you will see building materials covered with tarpaulin.
WOw so sad, look @the condition of the house, smh sad sad.
All you have to do now is go and build one for the owner. All you All are there for is to criticize.
Government is there to help the helpless. There will always be penniless people among us. If the economy were firing on all cylinders, there will not be so many people literally catching hell. It’s the government’s job to create safety net to assist families such as this one and not to feather their own nests. Your response, as usual, is imbecilic.
“The child WAS…” Condolences to the family
O wow.
