Before one of those innocent kids die on these scooters they need to jail these guys riding around with one and two little children so recklessly on our bad roads..Boiiii that’s a very serious concern.

What does the explosion in a  boat have to do with reckless riding around on a scooter?

I suspect escaping gasoline fumes ignited causing the explosion:  This should be a lesson to those people driving with leaking gas tanks. The last time I visited in Wesley a certain fellow drove an old pick-up truck using a gallon pan for his gasoline tank with a bit of rubber hose leading to the carburetor.

Funny thing is the pan filled with Gasoline was located behind his back fumes from the gas making contact with an arc could have blown us into oblivion. That person is one of my nephews; I had to inform him that a gallon of gasoline has a greater explosion potential than a stick of dynamite!

The same thing you use to fish for by selling cars way more than they worth, Money. Is just that Peter he was a black gard working man, not a masa like you. Do you find that’s the best thing to say at this time.

You know; I am going to defend Peter; because you are talking crap. When Peter import a motor vehicle, the taxes and duty has to be added to CIF value, then a markup is added, from that markup he is able to provide employment to Dominicans.

To cut this crap short: one time I saw him advertise some vehicle; when I compare the cost  in America to what  Peter were selling them for in Dominica, they were far more expensive here in America than in Dominica.

If you term Peter Karam a “massa” I count you to be someone with an inferior complex!

Shut up you do not know what you are talking about!

Gas fumes, a common cause of fires and explosions aboard boats caused by a leaking hose and a short in the electrical system.

  10. Blessings or Curses?
    September 21, 2018

These days Dominicans are dying in strange ways, whether is in car accidents, tropical storm, hurricane, flood, by gun shot, stabbed, baby dying in fire, drowning, boat explosion you name it, as if we are living under a spell or under some curse. Yes I know these things are happening arround the world and happened in Dominica before but, certainly the last three years we have seen a frightening increase in such a small country and one has to wonder if we are enjoying God’s blessing or his wrath. I think it’s the later and we better do what we need to do to reverse the curse. We are like when the children of Israel we’re dying and the more they prayed the more they died until they found out it was because of the sins of Acan. As soon as he was judged by the people, the curse was lifted. It’s time to deal with our Achan to lift the curse over Dominica according to Skerrit last week, we can’t afford more. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

What strange ways? These are ways people die. We are not all going to die of old age…My sympathies to the victim’s family
