    Sad News
My Condolences to Emile’s friends and family.
Too many drivers are too busy on roads which are too narrow and too winding. . . . and Short.
They speed up, overtake you just past The Cove corner, at race car speeds,
and then you end up right behind them, in traffic, at Deep water harbor area.
    We going nowhere, fast.

As always, it is not easy losing a loved one suddenly, especially through an accident. Death is final.
May God console his family in their time of grief.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.

Emile my boy you will greatly be missed. What comforts me is that you were a great individual and touched everyone you came into contact with. Your family and friends have suffered a great loss. I personally know this is not how you wanted it to end but God Must have a bigger plan for you. I know wherever you are, jokes already busting and you have people grinning their teeth. Stay cool bro and we will meet on the other side one day. You will always be my Mini Me!

Is not only speeding, is wreckless, careless and irresponsible driving, overtaking in blind corners and so on . I see I on a bus going up village and as soon de man hit Castle Bruce stretch he cannot wait to go floorboard. Now that is a man who has had a couple beers with a full bus load of paying passengers lives in his hands . Think my boy, how can you put so much trust in a machine?

Dominicans want to go too fast and they are not experienced with it. Speed is unnecessary and dangerous to all. There’s no need for it. Worst are bus drivers who speed with a bus load of people. If you say anything about it they start cussing you out. Be responsible, please. Once you’re gone, you’re gone. RiP to the motorcyclist.

I do not know how young or old you are. I recall in those days when bus/truck drivers drove slowly and no doubt cautiously, the passengers would say “Bes I walk.”   Not best. This was the manner in which some spoke. They did not mind the fast driving so that they could reach their destination quickly. This would spur the driver on to drive faster. Yet, there were not that many accidents then. They wanted the driver to drive faster. Consider the hours it took from Roseau to Portsmouth, as an example.
Today with better roads and wider ones this should not be a problem but recklessness and fast driving are two primary causes of accidents.

You should be residing in industrialized countries. The year has just begun and so far in Toronto there are approximately five to seven murders with guns, a few accidents, some fatal which also included pedestrians, stabbings, break and enter, thefts and sexual assaults.
As the Media reported, it was not as bad last year at this time. Criminals are bolder than in previous years. Every year it gets worst. It is a cause of concern.

The roads were built for us and not for you.A DRIVER don’t only drive for himself but for others as well. Lack of respect for each other.I fear the mountains because I cannot see behind it. The answer to all these problems are ! Find a lady, get married, take your responsibilities seriously and live happily ever after. Putting too much responsibility on yourself and cannot control. The same applies with motor vehicle, you lost control and the engine takes over.Learn to grow up or die young, the choice is yours

Why do they not learn from all the major accidents which occurred in Dominica last year? Why do they continue driving recklessly and do not obey road regulations?

  18. January 30, 2016

My people it looks like you all need to be in a rush to get to your destination, Dominica is small take your time ,you will get there if you five minutes late speeding willnot get you there on time is late you late already.(R I P)

This is from one of my books of jokes: A policeman stopped a man who was speeding and asked him where was he going at that speed. He replied, “I have an important meeting with a very important person.” The policeman replied, “This is why I stopped you. I wanted to see if you have a halo and wings.”
Do you know what this means? Figure it out.

It is disappointing and sad to read this news. Driving under the Canefield cliff could be dangerous, in that, if road regulation is not observed and also due to driving fast.
When I resided in D/ca I recall there was a fatal accident which also involved a motorcycle under the Canefield cliff. One died on the spot. A few days later in hospital, the passenger on the motorcycle died. This made two deaths. I personally knew the one who died first. This was a sad time.
Pertaining to this bus, we should ask what happened. What caused the bus to overturn?
SUV’s are not really safe vehicles and could cause accidents.

@Face the fact, do you always have to post a comment even when you have nothing to talk about? You sound so lost and foreign! Is there a problem with under the cliff? When last you visited Dominica? You talking about two persons the died how many years ago as if to suggest they are the subject here. Then you talking about bus and you jumping on SUV’s and how they are not safe, as though you conducted a safety test, and found them to be faulty. You really sounding like you are under the influence of something.
