As the service restoration efforts continue and mobile cell sites progressively return to full operation, LIME Dominica has gone a step further to facilitate contact with family and loved ones in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Erika.
The company has announced that it will be providing a gift of $5 free credit to all prepaid customers on its network today to allow contact particularly where customers do not have the ability to topup their mobile phones.
“It is extremely important that every LIME customer is able to make that all important call to family members, friends and loved ones who would have been affected by the passage of Tropical Storm Erika” said LIME’s General Manager Jeffrey Baptiste in making this profound announcement.
Mr. Baptiste added further that LIME is committed to the wellbeing of the people of Dominica as the country recovers from the battering of Tropical Storm Erika and this gesture is evidence of this commitment.
Over the last few days, LIME’s technicians have been working tirelessly around the clock to provide swift restoration of services to customers along all lines of service including Mobile, Fixed and internet.
Lime made the news with this? Really? But Digicel gave the same $5.00 way before that and it didn’t make the news.
Excuse me Mr. Baptiste. What happen to post paid customers?
Thanks Lime! but it was of no use because data took it back. That wasn’t fair.
Mr. Baptiste, I really got the text, but I’m still waiting for the gift.
Half a loaf is better than none but $5.00 cannot even last two minutes on an overseas call.
