Man receives minor injury in Loubiere accident

The Mitsubishi involved in the incident

A man was slightly injured in an accident early Sunday morning.

The accident occurred in Loubiere around 3:30 am.

Witnesses told DNO that two vehicles were driving at high speed through the village when the driver of one, a Mitsubishi Nativa, lost control causing it to over turn.

The driver of the Mitsubishi received a minor head injury, witnesses say.

First off.. For “stupes”, ahmad bus was parked on the side of the road, as usual. So don’t say “ahmad again”. Secondly, these guys were racing. He couldn’t handle the speed he was in and crashed. Everybody passes in that same spot with the bus being there.. Even his friend who was in front. Praise God he alive and can see his wedding happen.

Well i know for a fact that the guy was drunk. Now he’s costing someone money. Hope he fixes the person bus and the police need to start charging people for driving under the influence.

Dear DNO….. I beg the question. What is a “loubiere” accident. And shouldn’t the second word from the heading be “receives” rather than “recieves”?

Ok, I see you corrected error, but I am still awaiting a response on the question, “what is a Loubiere accident”.

We’ve complained for years about speeding traffic in the village. So far, nothing has been done.
When they finally resurface the road, I hope they will install speed bumps, speed limit signs and sidewalks, or there will surely be fatalities in our small village as these fools drive like they are on the autobahn!!
By the way, what is the penalty for speeding thru villages?? Or drinking and driving? Arrest people for a joint (which never killed or injured bystanders) but let irresponsible drivers do their thing. Upside down….inside out.

      • NegDominik
        December 3, 2012

Speed bumps???? You ever witness the attitude of some drivers when they get near to the Massacre School. Woosh bump and gone. They even over take on the speed bumps and worse bus drivers do that. Blackmore need to set up mountains to slow them down in our so-called narrow road

      • Parker
        December 8, 2012

you cant put speed bumps on a highway unless its in a school zone, play ground, hospital or somthing of that sort…. would defeat the purpose of calling it a “highway” ….. mahaut people just believe the road is there own, whether the person speeding or diving 2mph the pedestrians believe they are transport too

sleeping policemen??? Yup, they are, especially when I call them to complain about the noise from the Sibouli bars at 2-330am, perhaps one in 4 calls they will come and close the bar, yes dear reader, none of them have license to go past 11pm. But I know what you mean, speed bumps are needed and again in the gaza stretch between Castle comfort and Loubiere.
