NAGICO Insurances says it will settle all claims related to Tropical Storm Erika as quickly as possible in an effort to restore stability to their clients in Dominica following the devastation left in the wake of Tropical Storm Erika last week.

According to a press release issued today, the insurance company has mandated all its regional offices, in their 19 territories, to allow Dominican clients to submit their claims.

Chairman of the NAGICO Group, Imran McSood Amjad said the company has deployed additional staff from neighbouring territories to assist the Dominica staff. A team of Claims Adjusters has also been deployed to focus solely on storm related claims.

NAGICO has also started an internal fund to assist the restoration effort and has made a donation as well, Amjad said.

NAGICO Insurances has also advised that in addition to regular Monday to Friday office hours, the Dominica branch will also be open on Saturdays to handle all claims matters related to Tropical storm Erika.

Amjad also reminded clients that the sooner their claims are reported, the quicker they will be settled. “We know that communication is limited and transportation at this time almost non-existent as a result of the destruction caused so we are opening all avenues to our clients,” he said. “They can report their claim via our [email protected] email address, via our Dominica NAGICO facebook page by simply sending us a message, or call us at our office 449-8990 or mobile: 275-1314.”

    Good job and concern NAGICO.
