The body of Neil Karam was laid to rest this afternoon at Our Lady of Fair Haven Cathedral with scores of persons attending his funeral mass.
Neil’s brother local priest Father Nigel Karam conducted his funeral service along with Bishop of Roseau Gabriel Malzaire.
Neil was a victim of an accident two days before the New Year. He was riding in the passenger side of Clinton Titre’s car in the early hours of the morning, when according to police reports, the car struck one of the light poles on Goodwill Road adjacent to the Public Works Garage.
Titre was since hospitalised.

it is so sad that this has happened. words cant express the heartbreak i feel. my heart goes out to your mom and dad. upon seeing those photos i now understand why what was said was said when it comes to those t -shirts at the work place. its sad even more sad………

It is rather sad that a young soul has been taken from us but we just have to pray. There is nothing that clinton and do or sad that would make a differents but i know that he will be grateful that he is alife. Hope that he make it through and god speed
Hey i was waiting for a call that you were ok, that you were recovering well and that you would soon be back to work to fix my pc….we all had our own personal and somewhat selfish reason why we felt your time was too short..either one wanted to marry you and have your kids, either one wanted you to take care of them or wanted you to be there to fix the problems we will have at work but you know what in light of all of that we ar enot the giver or taker of life and the one who gave you life is the one who took you…you were a sweet person neil you will always be missed, you will forever be spoken of and about you will never be forgotten.
I am going to cherish the shirt we made at work….boy you would say look sinema for fada funeral…you had alot of us sheading tears but we can see the positive side though its hard..you are in a better place a safer place and no more pain, hurt, or anything of bad nature will ever come to you again..

There is a saying that you never know what you have until it’s gone, but I know that everyone who knew Neil felt the difference his presence made in their lives when ever he was around. To his family, my thoughts and prays are also with you as my family is also going through a very difficult time. May the good Lord look on all of us favorably and may His will bring peace in our hearts. May we find comfort in knowing that God takes care of His children in this life and the next.
