I’ve know Derek over the years and what a nice gentleman he was. I can still recall his voice, so soft, so unique, always had only but gentle words. A great mentor he was, a leader, a friend. It’s so sad he’s gone but he’s gone over to a better place. A place where he awaits his family, a place where he’s looking down from heaven, a place where there is no pain. May the Perryman’s family find strength in God, for he is our salvation and our true God. Derek is gone but he will not be forgotten.

Condolences to the family. Derek was a true gentleman! I will definitely miss the warm greetings exchanged whenever our paths crossed; be it on the road, at the bank or merely driving past each other. Wish the family all the best in this difficult time.

Mr. Perryman was a great Dominican. he epitomises the spirit of hard, diligent, and hionest work.Dominica has lost a truly great son and contributor to national development. Whilst many of us have only talk and more taslk to show about our contribution to national development, he h was a gentleman of true class and national spirit who laboured inthe same small market, too his chances, built a niche in the Dive market for Dominica and lived a relativley successful life. we can learn something from Derrick.

Good people do not stay long in this corrupt world. Rest in peace my friend. You have ran the race, fought a good fight. Your reward is in heaven.

My sympathies to his family and workers, most of whom I knwo well.

I would like to extent my heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of Captain Derek Perry a true pioneer, on his transition. Derek was my mentor during the pursuit in obtaining my aviation dream. Today my dream have become a reality because of his guidance. The good lord has taken Captain Derek Perryman to heaven to teach his newly appointed angels how to fly. Let us celebrate and cherish the life he spent here with us. Everytime we look up toward the sky and see the contrails behind an airplane, know that Derek is in control of that airplane as he guides the newly appointed angels to earn their wings. To Mrs. Perryman and family be strong and may the good Lord bless you.
