LIME is vigorously pursuing efforts towards completing restoration of Mobile, Fixed and Internet Services Island wide following the damages sustained to its network with the passage of Tropical Storm Erika.
Overnight mobile and fixed line service was restored to the east coast community of La Plaine.
High on the agenda today is providing service to the west coast areas where LIME teams have been deployed and working in earnest to restore full service to these communities.
LIME’s General Manager Jeffrey Baptiste is keeping close to the restoration efforts and is confident that customers on the west coast will be able to use their LIME services before days’ end. “Our main objective is to have services restored in all affected areas and our teams are aware of this goal and are eagerly working towards completion” said Mr. Baptiste.
Barring any challenges, mobile service will be available in Colihaut, Coulibistrie, Morne Rachette, Dublanc and Bioche.
Other areas on the priority list for today includes mobile and fixed service restoration in Reviere Cyrique, Delice and Salisbury.
Meantime, LIME is today providing charging ports to facilitate customers who require assistance to charge their mobile phones. Chargers are being provided, however customers can also take along their personal charging apparatus. The free charging location is at the LIME flagship store in Roseau.
LIME is encouraging customers who need to charge their phones to take advantage of this opportunity.
