How sad. My prayers are with all the families left to mourn. Boy when I first heard of the plane crash the first thought that came to mind was, I hope it’s not the plane load of nurses, roofers, electricians and helpers Skerrit said would be coming to Dominica to assist him. Sorry for thinking so but I know we have a pm that is not blessed and is so closely associated with disaster and accidents man.

You are really an accursed thing with the kind of things that comes from your mouth. Please repent and ask the Lord to cleanse you so you can speak good things. Read Proverbs that the mouth is a tool for life and death. Use your tongue wisely. Change your name too.

Cuba needs to wake u and stop being dependent n receiving old plans from countries where they are no longer wanted. Cuba, I know current President Raul Castro is exiting the political arena after dictatorship for many years off a family running this blessed island. Old planes that countries no long want is used by Cuba to maintain the portfolio of the airline name CUBANA. I have vouched never to fly on a Cubana plane, as these are second hand plane other countries dumped at their airport because Cuba is unable and has been dependent on the other outside fraternity of friends to keep them alive.
Raul it is time you and your family get out and bring justice and democracy to Cuba that the talents of Cuba will be promoted worldwide in peace. Condolences to the Cuba`s families and people

This Boeing 737 -200, reg. no. AX-UHZ, was not a Cuban plane but on the Mexican register. It was not 2 years old but closer to 37 years of age, having being newly delivered to Piedmont airlines of the U.S.A. in August of 1979. Safety concerns about its current operating operator had been voiced before and this particular aircraft was banned from operating in Guyana because of overloading. I would recommend passengers checking the safety/ operating record of a little/unknown carrier.

Malatete, that age make that plane more like 39 years old. Wow!

        May 23, 2018

Maltete is absolutely right. The aircraft was almost 40 years old and wet leased from a Mexican company. All other aircraft belonging to Cubans are Soviet aircraft, some just as old as the Boeing.

Prime Minister Sir, I take it that you have said this on behalf of fellow Dominica; this is really a very sad outcome. I join you with sincere thoughts of the families of the lost ones, may they have the Light of Peace, the energy that they need to sustain this terrible grief.

Elisabeth, I do feel sorry for the people that lost their lives and the their families and friends but never assume that Roosevelt Skerrit speaks on behalf of this Dominican. He does not. I can make up my own mind and speak for myself if you don’t mind.

Oh how sweet of you Mr wonderful pm to be so sympathetic. But at least it had to take a plane crash for those people to be in a time of sorrow unlike here at home you have inflicted never-ending sorrow upon your people through joblessness, poverty, and theft. Yet your thoughts are not with us. Your thoughts are in dubai, Beijing, Tokyo, and the rest of the places you flee to for fancy vacations. You are a very wicked man pm. Your sympathy is equivalent to that of man that cries with no tears

      May 20, 2018

You are just a fake. Your comment is far from what I, the original, KID ON THE BLOCK stand for. Your negative words suite you and the UWP.
You seem to be an insider of DNO or DNO isn’t doing lt’s work properly. Those that have read my comments before will surely know that’s not my style; you are a FAKE… VIVA SKERRIT..

        You foolish individual!!

      • May 22, 2018

Kid on the block, you are so right! That fake individual is extremely foolish to think he or she with that stupid thought, would be accepted as your comment. I knew that fake right after the word sympathetic. Once again, how foolish! I even think that stupid is a better word

Kid on the Block?????? Your comments …. you say one thing today and another tomorrow. Concerned. Double minded or is someone using your name?????

        ??????????????? May 22, 2018

That comment is not from the real “Kid on the block”; I always read his/her comment when I see it on DNO, and I always approve. You are right to think that this one is from an impersonator–a coward who feels uncomfortable to use his or her own identity
