Three from Woodford Hill reported missing at sea

missing at seaThree people from Woodford Hill have been reported missing, after failing to return from a trip to Marie-Galante last week.

Mary Jarvis, mother of Janie Henderson, one of the missing persons, told DNO that her daughter, and her daughter’s boyfriend, Francis Toussaint, of Guadeloupe, along with a male she referred to as “Arnold,” left Dominica for Marie galante on Saturday, March 12, 2016, in an “orange and blue fishing boat.”

She stated that her worry began when her daughter did not contact her, days after the time she had been told that the trio would return.

“I feeling miserable. I know is not that she wanted not to come back, but it happened that they did not make it. They said they were coming back Sunday, because she tell me they was coming back on Sunday—Sunday gone, Sunday 14th — and they never make it back,” she explained. “She keeps contact, because when she reach, she call me; she tell me they reach, they safe. And… Sunday afternoon, about 5, she called me, and she tell me they were coming back. And the boyfriend even talk to me, he tell me ‘Mammy, we coming back’.”

The worried mother said that after receiving no word from the group, she made a report at the Calibishie Police Station, on Tuesday morning. The Coast Guard was then informed of the matter.

“I have contact the police, and police contact the Coast Guard… Tuesday morning, about after ten, to eleven so, I went to the Calibishie police station, and I made a report.”

Jarvis said that she has been contacted by the Puerto Rico Coast Guard, for information on her daughter. However, she said that she was subsequently told that their search would be terminated, as the three missing persons had not been found.

“I know for sure they contact the other neighbouring bases, like a Martinique, maybe Guadeloupe. For sure, I know they contact Puerto Rico, because Puerto Rico was calling me all the while, and asking me information…” she divulged. “Yesterday the Puerto Rico Coast Guard called, they said well, they haven’t seen anything, so they will not be searching anymore.”

Now this sounds a bit fishy to me.
Some people missing at sea and the mother of the young woman is so popular that the puertorican coast guard calls her for information??? why didn’t they call the dominica coast guard or Martinique or Guadeloupe?? something does not add up..

its either this young lady ran away and pretending to be dead to stop people from looking for her hence the phone call from the fake coast guard that search has been stopped or she was kidnapped.

    something is not right.

I hope they are safe and sound somewhere.
I heard the Mare Galante waters could be choppy with high waves. It could be dangerous. A suitable boat is necessary to travel on this water in safety.
